HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!! I wished Ms Sim a happy new year and she replied "Have a good rat year ahead! Hey, it still applies, rite?" HAHA! Which reminds me of a very stupid conversation i had recently.

Amin: This year's the year of the rat.

Me: NO! Mouse lah!

Amin: No i'm pretty sure its rat!

Me: Then how come Mickey MOUSE and Minnie MOUSE are so popular?

Amin: Well...because they are both rodents and,....have you ever heard of Mickey Rat or Minnie Rat?

Anw, yesterday i watched Juno and Sweeney Todd! Juno is disturbing. It's about a 16 year old having a baby and then giving it up to a 'perfect' couple. It's really disturbing to see what a 16 year old goes through and all that stuff about being a teenage mother. Good luck Jamie Spears! The teen actress playing Juno is superb though.

Sweeney Todd was....disappointing. It was really really gory and for someone who suffers from haemophobia, you can tell i didnt enjoy it that much. But it's not only that. It's the cheesy taglines, Tim Burton's signature overdone makeup (which didnt do justice to Depp seriously) and the all-very-similar songs. The songs all have the same tune! And the casts all can't sing which makes it very hard on the ears. But if you like Burton's work then you'll like it. Sweeney Todd is a Burton through and through.

We ate at Secret Recipe and i won the 'Who Had More Cutlery' contest! I always win these kinds of contests. You know, the ones created by me on the spot.
